In fact, I'm pretty sure he's never responded to me. Ash makes excellent products, and if you have the time, are usually worth the wait. That being said, 2 out of the 3 times I have worked with him, there have been significant delays. The first was an ECU socket & chip, which took 2 weeks from order->shipment (Sent in the core later). The second was a chip only, which took more than a month from the point where he received the core. He never returned my emails, and the only way I got him, was calling him out here. The Third time I dealt with him was a part of his Christmas discount, which delivery was acceptable (~2 weeks total, from my shipping it out, to him getting it 2 days later, to receiving the new one).
